Day 1.1 – Fanatec Podium Wheel Base DD2 – 47 % oh yeah!

The Fanatec Podium DD2 is a direct drive wheel base considered to be Fanatec’s flagship model. It provides up to 25 Nm of torque and features integrated electronics housed within its main unit, making it easy to set up similar to Fanatec’s CSL wheel bases. The DD2 has an adjustable force feedback and a OLED display. It is compatible with PCs, Xbox One, and works wirelessly with Fanatec steering wheels using their Podium Hub technology. The Podium DD2 is widely regarded as one of the best and most powerful direct drive wheel bases currently available.

Day 2 – Fanatec Black Friday 2023 – CSL Elite Pedals V2

The Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals 2 are a three-pedal set designed as an affordable high-quality load cell pedal set. They feature an electronically adjustable brake mod with adjustable stiffness. The CSL Elite Pedals 2 provide realistic pedal feel and performance without the expensive price tag of top-of-the-line load cell pedals like Fanatec’s ClubSport pedals.
Day 3 – Fanatec ClubSport Shifter
When you buy a Fanatec Shifter you get exactly that – a shifter. And what a shifter it is! I’ve reviewed this little monster a few years ago already it served me well, really well.
Well, if you ever thought hmm hmm, a shifter would be nice, but it’s so expensive, let’s just continue shifting a street car or a 70s Formula 1 car with a sequential shifter and just pretend – now is your move.
Noticeable note: You can use it standalone and don’t need a Fanatec Wheel Base, so can even be used in conjunction with joypad (well, what a funny thought – or further: race with your keyboard, but shift with this beast – holy moly).
Some tec notes: The shifter can be used as sequential shifter knob and as an H-pattern shifter, featuring one R gear and 7 forward gears, so 8 positions in total. The R gear and the 7 th gear are made available by pressing the knob down. The bite can be adjusted from almost no resistance, to really tough.

Day 4.1 – Fanatec ClubSport Steering Wheel F1

Day 5 – CSL DD / Gran Turismo DD Pro Upgrade Kit – 49 %
Today Fanatec adds the upgrade kit for CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro with a huge 49 % discount. Also, Fanatec says that there are still ClubSport F1 wheel units available (see Day 4 deals), but are going fast!
The Fanatec Boost Kit 180 allows the CSL DD or Gran Turismo DD Pro wheel bases to reach their full potential by increasing the torque output from 5 Nm to 8 Nm. This upgraded dynamic range delivers a more immersive sim racing experience. The CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit is a significant upgrade for the CSL Pedals, hugely improving the feel of the brake pedal to provide a realistic braking sensation. The tuning offered by the CSL Pedals Tuning Kit sets the finishing touch, replacing the standard pedal faces with hardened anodized aluminum for optimum grip, feel, and durability.
Day 6 – CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro upgrades
Todays’ Black Friday deals are upgrades for CSL DD– and Gran Turismo DD Pro-Wheel Bases. As you may know, Fanatec is changing their Quick Release (=”QR”) to version 2 (=”QR2″). With these deals, you can make your CSL DD and GT DD Pro future proof for upcoming Fanatec steering wheels..
Here is the deal:
Fanatec is transitioning all of its steering wheel and base products to a new quick release system called QR2. Currently, Fanatec uses a quick release called QR1 that has a round shaft and spring-loaded metal balls. QR2 features an entirely new mechanical design with a squared and tapered coupling shape that uses spring-loaded locking pins. This new QR2 design is not compatible with the existing QR1 system.
The transition to QR2 will take place across all Fanatec product series, including CSL, ClubSport and Podium, over the next 1-2 years. This marks a complete changeover of Fanatec’s quick release technology across its entire product range. While the QR2 system is incompatible with QR1, Fanatec will offer upgrade options for many existing QR1 products to make them compatible with the new QR2 standard. This change will standardize Fanatec’s quick release technology going forward.

ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox: The Fanatec ClubSport Universal Hub V2 is a steering wheel adapter that allows ClubSport and Podium bases to be used with Xbox consoles. It features a quick release system compatible with all Fanatec rims and a special connector to interface with Xbox. The hub supports force feedback and includes paddle shifters. It is designed for use with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows.
Podium Button Module Endurance: The Fanatec Podium Button Module Endurance attaches to Podium racing wheels to provide additional buttons and controls. It features additional buttons, multiposition switches and more & a display that can be customized through Fanatec’s driver software. The Podium Button Module Endurance expands the functionality of Podium wheels.
ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module: The Fanatec magnetic paddle modules use magnets instead of springs for paddle operation, mirroring the design of advanced race cars. This magnetic design provides higher durability than a spring mechanism. Strong magnets create the resistance, resulting in a solid, tactile feel with each gear shift. The lack of springs allows for rapid shifting without the same wear and tear that would occur in a spring-based system. The automotive-grade switches work in conjunction with the magnets to deliver a durable and responsive shifting experience.
